Radnoti 4-channel perfusion system for single cell and small tissue bath preparations

The Radnoti 180102 Micro Perfusion System is designed to maintain a perfusion solution’s temperature and aeration through the use of 4 ea.  120142-250 250ml water-jacketed reservoirs and a 4-inner tube flex-tube assembly. Aeration is controlled via manifolds with individual Teflon needle valve aeration controls. The system can be adjusted to permit different gases to be used for hypoxia/ischemia or volatile anesthetic experiments. Water-jacketed systems are often more stable than small, electrically heated perfusate or syringe warmers because their reserve heat capacity is much larger, thereby reducing temperature fluctuations. The 180102 flex-tube system maintains the perfusate temperature constant through the length or the tubing run from the reservoirs to the receiving bath. The 180102 Micro Perfusion System is recommended for situations where supply line flexibility is critical.  Configured with 120142-250 250ml water jacketed reservoirs, optional reservoirs volumes from 10 ml to 5 liters (see water jacketed reservoirs). Fluids can be added during experimental runs through the use of the optional reservoir oxy bubbler with fluid return port (140143 series).  The Radnoti 180102 comes standard with 1.8mm I.D. Teflon tubing for the perfusate runs.  Optional Polyethylene or Tygon tubing in sizes ranging from 1/32 in and 1/16 are also available.

The systems can be controlled using optional solenoid valve and peristaltic pump systems, allowing for complex delivery regimens to be initiated via optional computer based control system or the user’s pre-existing equipment.
