Complementing our amplifiers, amplifier systems, transducers and sensors are three Windows-based software packages. Combining these with the Model 15LT, 15, and 12 amplifier systems and our single channel amplifiers provides complete data acquisition and analysis systems. The flexible A/D devices provided with these software packages will interface with many non-Grass amplifiers as well. Gamma provides embedded control of the Model 15LT and 15 amplifiers offering seamless operation.
PolyVIEW® is an 8-channel general purpose package for use in collecting and analyzing physiological data including, blood pressures, contractility, temperature, EEG, ECG, EMG, EOG, respiration and many other types of signals sensed by various electrodes and transducers.
PolyVIEW is especially useful for student laboratories since it is very friendly and easily setup. The clear intuitive Windows screens allow fast setup without the need for programming. PolyVIEW is available in two versions; one for desktop PCs and one for laptop PCs. A 4-channel digital oscilloscope mode provides sampling up to 20 kHz/channel. PolyVIEW includes the software, A/D, interface cabling.
Gamma® is a 36-channel or 16-channel package intended for applications requiring high channel count, such as those encountered in EEG and Sleep research. Recorder features include sampling rates from 1 to 1000 samples/sec/channel, digital filtering, digital indicators, programmable annotation, trend windows, and multiple display views.
Gamma reviewer features include rapid sleep staging and scoring, automatic detection of respiratory events, desaturations, and EMG bursts. Standard analysis tools include Zoom views, FFT spectral analysis, and trends. Additional features include report generation, data archiving and synchronized digital video.
GrassLab® is intended for research applications in cardiology, physiology, pharmacology, neurology, neurophysiology and other life science fields. The system includes the A/D device, software, cabling and manuals and is capable of acquiring up to 16 primary data channels and up to 16 derived channels. Additionally, the flexible analog interface permits many other manufacturers instruments to be utilized.
Special application software plug-in modules compatible with PolyVIEW, Gamma and GrassLab are available for heart rate R-R interval analysis and EEG spectral trends.
For animal sleep staging and analysis, a special standalone software package, RSS is offered which reads PolyVIEW and Gamma files. During the staging process, the software analyzes the frequencies and total power per epoch of the EEG data.
