In-Line Injection Port

To permit injection of drugs via syringe or syringe pump systems, the injection port features a threaded side port with a screw cap, replaceable septa (7.84mm) and male/female Luer fittings.

The body of the injection port is a 8mm O.D., 3mm I.D. glass tube that permits the experimenter to observe drug entry and detect the formation of precipitates or bubbles. Unlike plastic injection ports, this glass port can be disassembled and cleaned thoroughly, eliminating a site for bacterial growth that may lead to loss of preparation viability. Overall length is 35mm. Constructed of borosilicate glass.
